Senior Statutory Auditor

Role Overview

The Director – Statutory Audit will lead and manage statutory audit engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, compliance with professional standards, and strong client service. The role involves managing audit teams, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the audit practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead statutory audit engagements for clients across industries, in compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Supervise and manage audit teams, review work papers, and ensure quality and accuracy in audit deliverables.
• Plan and execute audit assignments effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with client management teams.
• Identify and resolve accounting, auditing, and compliance issues.
• Guide, mentor, and support the development of junior audit staff.
• Stay current on changes in accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards.
• Support the business development activities of the audit practice.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA qualified (or equivalent) with 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards (ICAI, Companies Act, Ind AS, IFRS).
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and lead teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,906.56 - ₹90,201.69 per month
