The candidate in this role will be responsible for performing Analysis, testing & peer review of different phases of client implementation life cycle on ongoing basis.
- Good Defined Benefits domain knowledge
- Adept at Verification and Validation activities to ensure software under test is bug free, meets requirements and is usable.
- Excellent knowledge of Web Testing and Database Testing, experience in Calculator Testing/configuration is preferred
- Good understanding of implementation process and process model.
- Understanding of test management and defect management tools preferred.
- Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Break pointing of medium complexity requirements to create a test plan and subsequently test cases
- Ability to medium to complex SQL queries to retrieve, update, insert data.
- Fair Understanding of Calculator Testing - Break pointing of requirements, Test case setup, Checker Configuration
- Analytical, independent, inquisitive, detail oriented and takes initiative.
- Fair knowledge of Workflow Management tools like JIRA/ADO
- Proficient Excel skills and the MS Office knowledge
- Clear and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interaction with others and time management skills.
- ISTQB certification (preferred)

Education:
- B.Tech / MCA/ B.Sc.(IT) / BCA from reputable institute in any stream
Eligibility:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in service industry
- Minimum 12 months experience in Current Role.
- Should have at least “On Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.
- Should not be under any Performance Continuity Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months
- Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer in the last 3 months
