Senior Specialist - Configuration Management

 End to end Lifecycle management of Configuration management. Develop and maintain the CMDB framework, including configuration item (CI) identification, classification, and relationship mapping. Ensure accurate and timely population of the CMDB with relevant CI data from multiple sources, including discovery tools, change management processes, and manual updates. Define and enforce CMDB data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and consistency. Monitor CMDB performance and identify areas for improvement, such as data quality, normalization, and reconciliation. Ensuring discovery schedules are working and collaborating with stakeholders to fix discovery errors. Collaborating with teams and ensuring ownership of CIs is updated in CMDB. Hands on ServiceNow’s CMDB module.

Reporting And Analytics

 Create and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to provide insights into configuration and service data. Analyze CMDB and CSDM data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to configuration and service management. Proficient in MS excel.

Documentation And Training

 Document CMDB and CSDM processes, procedures, and guidelines for reference and training purposes. Conduct training sessions and workshops for IT staff and end-users on CMDB and CSDM concepts, usage, and best practices. Familiarity with IT asset management, configuration management, and discovery tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.#ADL
