Senior Software Tester

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Tester to lead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior testers. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and business teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA process for web, mobile, and software applications.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Analyze requirements and create effective test plans and strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Review test deliverables prepared by junior testers and provide mentorship.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous improvement.
• Prepare test reports and communicate quality status to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools .
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, Appium, etc.).
• Knowledge of databases (SQL) and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in performance testing tools .
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to handle client communication independently.
