Senior Software Tester

As a Senior Software Tester at Fime, you will work in Bangalore under the supervision of the Software QA Manager. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Product Owner and the Development team as part of the Scrum team. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of deliverables by conducting non-regression testing and providing valuable insights during the testing process to achieve high global quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation for both internal and external stakeholders as per project requirements. In this role, you will be involved in the manual and automated testing of code deliveries, including developing functional test cases, executing tests, analyzing results, and generating reports. You will operate in an agile environment, participating in daily meetings with the development team, assisting in task estimation and prioritization, and contributing to quarterly planning sessions. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to process innovation and adaptation by leveraging your monitoring skills. As a Senior Software Tester, you will also have additional responsibilities such as reviewing and authorizing test reports, conducting internal technical training sessions, providing technical support to internal teams, customers, and authorities, contributing to the implementation of new services and projects, participating in audit preparations and actual audits, and having autonomy in task planning. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in a related field. You are expected to have academic expertise in code development, proficiency in languages such as Groovy, Java, Python, and experience with automation tools. Knowledge of working in a DevOps environment, familiarity with Agile frameworks, a willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements, openness to new technologies, and proficiency in English communication are essential requirements. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, and the starting date is immediate.
