Senior Software Tester

As a Manual Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in our Quality Assurance team, ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through thorough testing and analysis. Your keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment will be key to success in this role. Your responsibilities will include analyzing project requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases. You will design, document, and execute manual test cases to ensure that software meets requirements and quality standards. Performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing will be a core part of your role, along with identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies. Your close collaboration with developers to resolve issues and ensure software functionality will be essential. In terms of documentation and reporting, you will be responsible for documenting test results, creating detailed test reports, and providing clear and concise feedback to developers and stakeholders. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive test documentation will also be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration is a critical part of this position, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. Your participation in team meetings and input on improving testing processes and methodologies will be valued. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in manual software testing. Experience with different types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing is required. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are also important. Preferred qualifications include experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The work location is in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, so reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work is required.,
