Job Description

As a Senior Software Tester at Siemens Healthineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that directly impact patient care and drive advancements in the medical field. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the quality of our platform and integrated software solutions. You will mentor and guide a team of about 5 local testers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth. Collaboration with testers at sites in Slovakia and Germany in cross-functional, agile development teams will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will support the execution of manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality. Your role also includes pushing compliance with the quality management system in the test team to ensure future audit-proof releases of medical products. You will contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools, as well as conduct performance, scalability, and security testing as required. Identifying and reporting software defects in a detailed and concise manner will be essential. To be successful in this role, you should have a graduation or post-graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Medical/Life Sciences. With 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance in the medical domain, you should possess strong knowledge of testing methodologies, architectures, and best practices. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks is required, along with knowledge of frameworks for medical products like Syngo. Experience in R&D organizations and agile setups like SAFe/SCRUM is preferred. Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software engineering processes of medical products is crucial. Software development experience in C# is highly welcome, as well as expertise in MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control systems like TFS, requirement management systems (e.g. TFS), and test automation frameworks (e.g. MF QC). You should have demonstrated ability working with multicultural teams and various internal and external stakeholders globally, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proven coordination and influencing skills, along with the ability to lead without authority, are important. Being able to multi-task, work under pressure, and manage multiple project activities and responsibilities effectively is key. A self-motivated and assertive attitude will help you thrive in this role.,
