Senior Software Tester

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Software Tester to lead and execute testing processes across diverse projects. The candidate must have deep expertise in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect tracking, test automation, and manual testing methodologies to ensure delivery of high-quality software products.

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead and monitor the end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, and Closure.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and UAT testing.
• Ensure proper defect logging, tracking, prioritization, and closure using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Optimize test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.) to accelerate testing cycles.
• Prepare detailed test reports, quality metrics, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Ensure software products comply with industry standards, security practices, and compliance requirements.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC.
• Expertise in manual testing methodologies and automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
• Proficiency with defect management tools .
• Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with high accuracy.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 58+ years of proven experience in software testing across multiple domains.
• Hands-on expertise in manual + automation testing with exposure to agile environments.
• Experience in leading QA/testing teams will be an added advantage.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent preferred.
