About the Role: As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will take on more advanced testing responsibilities and contribute significantly to our quality assurance efforts. Your expertise will help create robust test automation solutions, ensuring software reliability and performance. You will play a crucial role in mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes. Responsibilities: Lead the design and execution of complex automated test cases. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices. Analyze test results and identify opportunities for test coverage improvements. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers on testing strategies. Execute performance and load testing using appropriate tools. Implement automated regression testing into CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve intricate automation challenges. Document test processes and outcomes for future reference. Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methodologies and procedures. Skills: Advanced Programming: Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python. Complex Test Design: Ability to design and implement sophisticated test scenarios. Test Automation Architecture: In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG). Performance Analysis: Skills in using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter for performance testing. Mentorship: Capability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address automation issues. Continuous Integration: Advanced understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Collaboration: Excellent team collaboration and communication skills. Level criteria T3 (for internal use only): Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in primary technical job family and knowledge of related technical job families; has worked with a range of technologies Has knowledge of best practices and aware of the competition and market differentiators Solves complex technical problems; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Works independently, receives minimal guidance; may lead projects or may have accountability for on-going activities Impacts a range project activities within own team and other related teams; acts as a resource for colleagues Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus Level at which career may stabilize for many years Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
