Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and deliver features.
Own the backend architecture for specific HR modules (e.g., leave, payroll, onboarding).
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application.
Write clean, testable and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
Optimize database performance and data structures for HR workflows.
Participate in code reviews, mentoring and driving technical excellence across the team.
Handle third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, Aadhaar, PAN verification, etc.).

Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on backend development experience.
Strong programming skills in Node.js and Java
Deep understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
Proficiency in working with relational databases (MySQL).
Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
