About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Pega Support and Build/Deployment Management In this role, you will: Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Minimum Technology Experience: 4 years Minimum years of Pega experience: 1 years Skill Sets: Pega 8.X, HTML5, Core Java, CSS, Java Script Experience with Monitoring/Logging tools: Splunk, Pega Diagnostic Cloud (PDC), Grafana, Cloud technology Job Expectations: Support build and deployment processes using Pega Deployment Manager Document Detailed Production Deployment Gameplans, that include Backouts and Recovery Plans Manage deployments and Pega Rule versions, ensuring process steps are adhered to Maintain documentation around key deployment processes, How-tos and support practices Provide application monitoring for post publishing and technical release deployments Triage Pega technical issues and failures Support application compliance related requests Work with Pega on Infrastructure updates and patches to ensure application stability Research Pega Performance issues and perform recommended tuning activities. Perform hands on recovery activities when production issues occur Log and monitor application incidents Help maintain and capture key production metrics using Dashboards such as Grafana Knowledge and exposure to AI/ML
