Job Description As a member of the Fusion Apps Cloud deployment and Release Management team, your focus is to provide a centralized modern software delivery pipeline for Oracle Cloud Applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you are expected to be a member of the problem-solving team and be highly skilled in solving complex (often previously unknown), critical issues. This position is for a technical hands-on role, focused on providing delivery automation services using the latest technology stacks and best practices to maximize the value of Oracle Cloud Applications, from source code onto the cloud. Skills And Qualifications At least 6+ years of related professional experience in software development across the full software life-cycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery development environment Strong Java programming skills and experience with scripting languages (e.g, Python, Perl) Familiar with service-oriented architecture and product development lifecycles (including Microservices) Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with proven success in contributing in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, working with technical and non-technical peers, as well as management Self–motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively BS/MS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or a related engineering field and 6+ years of experience as a software developer Knowledge of Industry standard CI/CD tools for Cloud deployment and Knowledge of AI/ML Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities Include Design and implement Tools and Frameworks which are scalable and robust to support Oracle Cloud Applications Optimise the tools and processes to improve productivity of the Cloud Applications Developers Mentor juniors, knowledge sharing and collaborate with cross teams Provide support to the users of the tools and framework and debug issues with quick turnaround Perform peer code reviews for better quality and best practices Identify and implement modern tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches with innovation Qualifications Career Level - IC3 About Us As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s challenges.
