Job Description

Required Qualification:

6-9 years of hands on experience:Designing, developing, and maintaining Java/J2EE based applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment.API Services development and consumption using modern frameworks and open source technologies.Implementing Cloud based solutions in AWS
Effectively employ DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery using technology such as Groovy, Jenkins, Maven and Stash.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics (or equivalent)

The Skills You Bring

Hands on software development experience in Java Web services and API solutions.
Hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), building RESTful services, XML/JSON, and modern Application Servers.
Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core and JavaScript.
Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services.
Working knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications (AWS, Azure).
Experience in documenting APIs leveraging an API documentation framework (Swagger)
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash and Docker.
Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open source technologies.
Working knowledge of testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test.
Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM) Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems.
Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally.

Participating in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance turning, production support, and maintenance of existing APIs. Playing a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies.
Ensuring code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed efficiently and effectively.
Helping to coordinate the delivery of technical components across internal/external technical teams.
Providing technical leadership and mentoring to more junior team members.
