Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Engineer proficient in Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge solutions in a collaborative hybrid work environment, driving impactful projects across industries. Responsibilities Develop RESTful microservices and backend components using Java 17+ and Spring Boot Design and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilizing GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and BigQuery Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring Write clean, efficient, and testable code accompanied by unit and integration tests Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and performance optimization Work with Agile/Scrum teams and actively contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives Requirements 4–7 years of Java development experience, specializing in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Practical expertise with microservices architecture and distributed systems 1–2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Background in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferably GKE) Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with messaging systems like Pub/Sub or Kafka Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build Experience with databases like BigQuery, or Cloud SQL and understanding of SQL/NoSQL systems Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments Capability to solve complex problems with a focus on clean and efficient code Flexibility to work autonomously and contribute in team settings Proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to new technologies Nice to have GCP Associate or Professional certification such as Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager Expertise with domain applications in industries like retail, finance, healthcare, or logistics Experience with monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana and observability best practices
