Senior Software Engineer - Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration

We are a technology-driven company seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration. You will play a crucial role in working with technical and business leaders during Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, ensuring that technical designs align with user stories and business requirements. Responsibilities Work with technical and business leaders during Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations Participate in requirements review and assess the technical effort needed for configuration Ensure technical design aligns with user stories and follows development best practices Leverage Guidewire accelerators for development activities and reuse architectural patterns Deliver standards-based code that is G-unit tested and code-reviewed according to specifications Develop integration solutions including Batch processes, Message Queues, and Event Messaging Create integration solutions with internal and external consumers Utilize Guidewire EDGE APIs to build reusable domain-based API solutions Establish and execute unit and integration tests, focusing on automation where applicable Conduct code reviews and ensure comprehensive testing during continuous integration and deployment Facilitate code gate-checking prior to promoting to higher environments Support all life-cycle phases during and post-implementation, including production support and maintenance Requirements Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter integration development for a minimum of 4 years Background in developing web-based Java/J2EE or .NET applications for at least 5 years Experience leading offshore teams Strong experience with Guidewire Edge APIs and exposing Guidewire functionality to external consumers Advanced knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL Strong experience with designing and developing Rest APIs or Web Services Nice to have Knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools like TFS, Rally, or JIRA Familiarity with source control tools such as GIT Understanding of Guidewire integration concepts, including Batch Processing and Event Processing Show more Show less
