About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our User Experience Engineering Support Team . In this role, you’ll design, develop, and optimize internal tools that support our user experience teams . You’ll own key features end-to-end , ensuring high standards for code quality, system performance, and usability . This is a highly collaborative role —partnering with Engineering, Program Management, Product, and QA teams globally . You'll be part of an international engineering team of 100+ client developers and play a pivotal role in maintaining our position as the premiere anime streaming service . Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend and backend components for internal UX tools Drive architectural decisions and lead design discussions for critical systems Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with thorough documentation Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues Collaborate with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define requirements Ensure performance, scalability, and security of internal applications Required Skills 6+ years of experience in software development Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Proven experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development Experience with Node.js and serverless architectures Solid understanding of unit and integration testing practices Nice to Have Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFront Experience working in serverless environments Knowledge of the Go programming language Exposure to SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) methodologies Show more Show less
