Staff Engineer – E-commerce Location: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite) – Hyderabad, India Industry: OTT / Digital Entertainment / E-commerce Audience Reach: 100M+ global fans About the Role We're hiring a Staff Engineer to join our E-commerce team , reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager . This senior-level role blends technical leadership with hands-on development , shaping our e-commerce architecture , driving code quality , and mentoring engineers . Key Responsibilities Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable e-commerce solutions Define and implement architectural strategies Champion engineering best practices & enforce code quality standards Conduct code reviews & provide technical mentorship Collaborate cross-functionally to align tech with business goals Identify project risks and apply mitigation strategies Mentor engineers , foster growth and uphold technical excellence Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams Stay updated with industry trends & recommend new tools/tech Influence long-term strategy and contribute to product roadmap Eliminate engineering process inefficiencies Work in a distributed, agile team Join client calls or meetings when required What You Bring Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related technical field 12+ years of professional software engineering experience Proven experience in building and leading complex systems Strong command of modern development methodologies & practices Tech Stack & Expertise Languages/Frameworks: JavaScript , Node.js , AngularJS , Bootstrap Platform Expertise: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) ISML , Pipelines , Controllers Business Manager configuration & customization API Integration: REST , SOAP , JSON , XML Strong understanding of e-commerce systems & scalable architecture Show more Show less
