Job Title: Service Engineer

Divisions: Industry Division / Gems & Jewellery Division

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and service company equipment at customer locations (domestic and overseas).

Lead all aspects of service, repair, and maintenance of assigned products.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.

Attend service calls, breakdowns, and product demonstrations promptly.

Inspect, test, and prepare equipment before customer delivery; ensure products are marked R.F.D. (Ready for Dispatch) after quality testing.

Maintain the Service Room, including spares, tools, service manuals, and RFD inventory.

Manage inventory of spare parts and RFD goods.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for spares, tools, and technical escalations.

Provide technical support and training to distributors and customers.

Promote service business opportunities to support company revenue growth.

Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Support continuous improvement of service processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, or related field.

15 years of experience in field service or technical support (Freshers may apply based on role).

Experience in servicing Industrial / Laboratory / Laser / XRF / Gems & Jewellery instruments will be preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and customer-handling ability.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours.
