Senior Service Engineer (Digital Printer)

Technical Support & Service

• Install, configure, and calibrate digital printing machines at client locations.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
• Handle service escalations and resolve complex technical problems.

Customer Service

• Provide timely on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Train operators on machine handling, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service satisfaction.

Team Support & Training

• Mentor and guide junior service engineers.
• Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on machine operations and best practices.
• Support in preparing and updating service manuals and technical documentation.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and parts consumption records.
• Update CRM/service software after each service visit.
• Report recurring issues, machine performance observations, and improvement suggestions to management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of digital printing technology.
• Hands-on experience with Solvent, Eco-Solvent, UV, and Large Format Printers.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field service tasks.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or relevant field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in servicing digital, solvent, or UV printers.

• Experience in major Solvent & UV printer brands is an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel for on-site service across locations.
• Valid driving license preferred.
• Strong commitment to service quality and customer satisfaction.
