Senior Salesforce Engineer

Role Overview: As a Salesforce Engineer at Sitetracker, you will be an integral part of a feature delivery team focused on delivering new product functionalities and customer-requested enhancements utilizing the Salesforce technology stack. You will collaborate with a dynamic and highly collaborative team to ensure the best experience for customers while working with cloud-based software implemented on the Force.com platform. Key Responsibilities: - Create complex LWC components with unit tests - Develop custom solutions using force.com, including working with Apex classes, triggers, components, VisualForce pages, and SOQL - Apply modern Javascript and unit testing frameworks (LWC, React, Angular, Vue, etc.) to the Salesforce domain - Write Apex REST Services and consume Salesforce Platform APIs - Utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and version control systems like Git - Work around Salesforce limits to overcome blockers - Administer and configure advanced system settings like Objects, Reports, Dashboards, Flow, Approval Processes, Workflow Rules, and Security - Lead a delivery team, conduct training sessions, standups, mentor team members, and resolve issues - Focus on technical debt identification and system optimization - Translate business requirements into technical architecture and communicate requirements to team members - Estimate effort for building solutions and balance between quality and speed - Collaborate directly with customers to understand use cases and collect feedback - Write clean, scalable, and modular code following best practices such as TDD - Participate in agile processes and contribute to all associated processes and cadences - Transform pixel-perfect mockups into functional solutions Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in creating complex LWC components and conducting unit tests - Experience in custom development using force.com, including Apex, VisualForce, and SOQL - Knowledge of modern Javascript and unit testing frameworks applicable to Salesforce - Ability to write Apex REST Services and consume Salesforce Platform APIs - Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and version control systems like Git - Strong understanding of Salesforce system administration and configuration - Capability or interest in leading a delivery team and mentoring team members - Focus on delivering quality solutions through thorough testing and best practices - Ability to collaborate with customers, understand use cases, and provide solutions - Strong computer science fundamentals and background - Experience in agile development and adherence to coding standards - Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture Additional Details about Sitetracker: Sitetracker was founded with a focus on solving project management challenges in the telecommunications industry, which has now expanded to utilities, smart cities, and alternative energy sectors.
