Our Salesforce Center of Excellence is seeking a capable and experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer with NodeJS experience to join the team. The Senior Salesforce Engineer will be responsible for developing custom solutions and integrations on the Salesforce platform, ensuring lightweight, consistent governance, and compliance with industry practices. In this role, you will collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and develop scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and NodeJS.
This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Sr. Technical Manager, Salesforce.

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform and supporting technologies

Implement Salesforce solutions that follow platform best practices, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, and perform peer code reviews

Develop integrations with back-office systems and manage data migrations using modern middleware and APIs

Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet functionality, scalability, and performance goals

Estimate effort, plan resources, and define development schedules in partnership with project leadership

Evaluate existing systems to determine integration and improvement opportunities

Identify opportunities to enhance productivity and processes through Salesforce automation

Work cross-functionally with software engineers, product managers, and interface development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Drive platform optimization efforts focused on scalability, reliability, and ongoing performance improvement

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs

Strong background in platform scalability, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction

Proven expertise in event-driven integrations using MuleSoft, AWS Lambda, or REST/SOAP APIs

Deep understanding of Salesforce DevOps practices with GitHub, SFDX, and CI/CD automation

Experience with Service Cloud or Experience Cloud in large-scale enterprise environments

Knowledge of security hardening, compliance assurance, and data integrity frameworks

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (PDII or Architect-level preferred)

Familiarity with AI and agentic workflows, integrating Salesforce with LLMs or intelligent automation systems

Strong communication and collaboration skills across global, cross-functional teams
