Senior Salesforce Developer

You will be joining the CRM team within Corporate Engineering as a Senior Salesforce Developer at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), a world-leading financial markets infrastructure and data business with a commitment to excellence in delivering services across Data & Analytics, Capital Markets, and Post Trade. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will have 8 years of technical experience and a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into Salesforce solutions, working with Apex and Visualforce, utilizing Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, and having experience with Lightning web components, Lightning platform, CPQ, Sales cloud, CI/CD, and Deployment tools. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions, testing and debugging apex code, ensuring the quality and performance of the Salesforce application. Preferred skills and experience include working with Integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Experience Cloud, troubleshooting skills, and a basic understanding of financial markets. You should be able to work independently and in a team environment, communicate effectively in English, manage your own work, and multitask to meet tight deadlines. A proactive attitude, customer focus, and commitment to team goals are essential qualities. Educational requirements include a professional qualification, a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field, and strong communication skills. Curiosity about new technologies, creativity, and initiative-taking are valued attributes. Relevant DevOps certifications and Agile-related certifications are beneficial. In this role, you will collaborate with global teams in different time zones, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to develop high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will be involved in project-related activities, system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Your responsibilities will also include managing project priorities, timelines, and resources, providing customer service, performing code reviews, driving continuous development process enhancements, and collaborating with other teams for seamless system integrations.
