Role - Senior Sales - Government & Public Sector

Role Overview:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales & Government Relations professional to lead our government business initiatives, engage with central and state government agencies, and drive strategic sales efforts in the Delhi region.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong relationships within government bodies, a deep understanding of Digital India and related digital transformation initiatives, and the ability to influence, strategize, and close high-value deals in the cybersecurity domain.

Qualifications:

• 15–20 years of experience in government or public sector sales, with strong networks and credibility across central and state governments.
• Proven experience in selling technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS solutions to government organizations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skill
• Deep understanding of government procurement cycles and policy frameworks
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented and consultative sales approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting central ministries, PSUs, and public sector organizations
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across NIC, Digital India, and central government entities
• Drive revenue growth, client acquisition, and retention within government accounts
• Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including RFP responses, proposals, and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized cybersecurity solutions tailored to public sector needs
• Stay abreast of government policies, procurement processes, and digital transformation programs
• Liaise with central and state governments to nurture product requirements and create market demand
