Core Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a scalable B2B sales strategy to meet company revenue targets.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential markets and segments.
  • Set and track individual and team sales KPIs and quotas.
  • Analyse data and adjust strategy based on performance metrics and market trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities across brands, media agencies, and corporate advertisers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.

Client & Account Management

  • Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Understand client goals and pain points to tailor advertising solutions.
  • Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and upselling opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, 1:1s, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with account managers and creative teams to deliver campaigns post-sale.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals.
  • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to deliver value to clients.
  • Provide feedback on pricing, packaging, and product-market fit.
  • Work closely with marketing on lead generation, campaigns, and content strategies.
  • Help recruit and mentor junior sales reps as the team grows.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership

  • Own and drive the B2B sales strategy to meet and exceed monthly & annual revenue goals.
  • Lead market segmentation, territory planning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Forecast, track, and report on pipeline metrics, conversion ratios, and sales velocity.
  • Build, manage, and optimise the sales funnel and pipeline generation strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of B2B sales with at least 4+ years in a senior/leadership role with advertising, media, or marketing tech.
  • Experience selling to marketing decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of B2B buyer behavior, procurement cycles, and multi-stakeholder decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets of $[X]M+ annually.
  • High proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales automation tools, and data analytics.
  • Proven track record of closing new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter mindset — comfortable working with limited structure or resources.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience at an advertising or creative agency, media startup, or ad tech platform.
  • Understanding of digital advertising (e.g., display, social, programmatic, influencer, OOH).
  • Existing network of advertising clients or media buyers.
  • Startup or early-stage experience.
