Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead new

business acquisition and strategic client tie-ups for our IT Software Services

organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in selling custom software

development, IT consulting, and digital transformation services, with a proven track

record of closing high-value enterprise and mid-market deals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure for IT

software services

  • Identify and acquire new clients, projects, and strategic partnerships

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and industries

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key

stakeholders

  • Understand client business challenges and propose tailored IT solutions


  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization

  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery teams for project onboarding

Market & Account Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs

  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, proposals, and lead

generation

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to existing clients

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior sales or business development team members

  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to create winning

proposals

  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 8–12+ years of experience in IT services sales or business development

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Custom Software Development

  • Web & Mobile Application Development

  • Cloud, AI, Data, or Digital Transformation services

  • Proven success in closing mid-to-large enterprise deals

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Experience working with global clients (US, Europe, Middle East, APAC

preferred)

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of enterprise clients or technology partners

  • Experience with outsourcing/offshore delivery models

  • Knowledge of RFP/RFQ responses and proposal management
