Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the pharmaceutical distribution sector, your role involves driving strategic business growth by cultivating and sustaining high-value relationships. You will be responsible for expanding the company's presence in various segments, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute business development strategies to enhance the company's market share in retail, hospital, and institutional segments. - Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and product lines to diversify revenue streams. - Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturers, and channel partners. - Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth avenues. - Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and strategic partners. - Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to facilitate the implementation of new business initiatives. - Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and tenders for prospective clients. - Monitor business performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed. - Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility. - Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and company policies. Skills & Competencies: - Demonstrated success in business development within the pharmaceutical distribution sector. - Proficient in leadership, negotiation, and networking. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently. - Familiarity with MS Office, CRM, and business analytics tools. Qualifications: - Graduation or Postgraduation in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field. - MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.
