Senior Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand business in the Government and PSU vertical through system integrations.


• Identify and engage with key Government agencies, departments, and decision-makers to drive business opportunities.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with system integrators and partners to enhance sales effectiveness.


• Work closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, technical, and marketing, to develop customized solutions for government clients.


• Lead proposal development, Bid management, and RFP responses for government contracts end to end.


• Ensure compliance with Government procurement policies and regulations.


• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and government policies to identify new opportunities.


• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.


• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government-related forums.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).


• 12-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the government sector.


• Proven track record of selling IT solutions, software, or hardware through system integrators.


• Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tenders, and contracting mechanisms.


• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Strong communication and presentation skills.


• Willingness to travel as needed.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling large government projects and tenders.


• Knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure, Managed Services, Cloud computing, Cybersecurity, AI, IoT, or other emerging technologies.


• Established network within Government agencies and system integrators.
