Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Sales Engineer/Assistant Manager Sales Key Accounts with min of 5 years Experience located in Ranipet Tamil Nādu India. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing sales engineering tasks, providing technical support, coordinating with key accounts, and driving sales initiatives. The role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, preparing sales reports, and contributing to strategic sales planning.


Qualifications

BE Mechanical/ Automobile Full Time

·      Supports in RFI / RFP / RFQ process and prepares all quotations.

·      Acts as the voice of the Customers within the company.

·      Coordinates cash-in and account receivables for all Customers invoices (prototypes, specific investments …).

·      Independently handle customer price negotiations and revisions during development and production phases (lifetime includes orders for replacement parts).

·      Monitors and records the pricing history during development (material margin) and after SOP.

·      Reconcile Customers’ contribution to tooling and development costs (cash).

·      Coordinates contractual negotiations with the relevant departments (Quality, Finance, Legal, Purchasing …).

·      Guarantees consistency of commercial approach with other projects of same Customer.

·      Collect and review Customers production forecasts and support internal budget process.

·      Follows and reports market trends and technological evolutions.

·      Support all local customer requirements & liaison with internal teams to address their business needs and to resolve any open issues.

·      Assure compliance with commercial policies including contract review

·      Market Intelligence – Obtain market news related to Automotive OEMs, Industry trend and competitor activity. Articulate them as a Quarterly report to Management

·      MIS – Prepare monthly Sales figures, update full year sales forecast and monitor the market related risks & opportunities monthly.

·      Versatile in sales order management in SAP (Sales order and price change management)

  • ·      Receivables management - ensure on-time payment and help resolve all issues related to credit outstanding.
