· Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer (Manual + Automation) · Location: Remote · Job Type: Contract · Time: EST time zone · Experience: 7+ Years About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Cypress, Playwright , and Python , along with a proven track record of driving quality initiatives across agile development teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories. Build and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress and Playwright. Write reusable and scalable test scripts in Python for automation tasks and testing scenarios. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features and technical implementation. Identify, document, and track bugs, and follow up on defect resolutions. Participate in code reviews , test plan reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices. Set up and maintain test environments, CI pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and integration with build systems. Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with quality standards and best practices. Analyze test results, generate metrics, and report quality status to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Software QA, with a mix of manual and automation testing . Proficiency in Cypress and Playwright for frontend automation testing. Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or JavaScript/TypeScript. Solid experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
