Why This Role Matters

We’re building a large-scale analytical platform that processes massive datasets and serves thousands of users in real time. As a Python Backend Engineer, you’ll own backend architecture, design secure, low-latency APIs, and lead the integration of GenAI-powered workflows. Your work will directly impact performance, scalability, and reliability at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Own backend architecture for a real-time, high-throughput analytics platform.
• Design & develop secure REST APIs and microservices in Python.
• Architect & integrate GenAI workflows using LlamaIndex, LangChain or similar frameworks.
• Implement real-time streaming (SSE, WebSockets), event-driven systems, and messaging frameworks.
• Optimize SQL & NoSQL databases for scale and performance.
• Implement security standards: OAuth2, JWT, encryption, and access controls.
• Define best practices for logging, monitoring, tracing (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Drive cloud-native deployments ensuring scalability & resilience.
• Mentor engineers, lead architecture discussions, and set engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end delivery.

Must-Have Skills

• 3–7 years of Python backend development experience.
• Expertise in REST APIs & microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of backend security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SSE, WebSockets, event-driven architecture.
• Practical experience with GenAI tooling (LlamaIndex, LangChain, etc.).
• Strong database expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL).
• Authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience in structured logging, monitoring, tracing.
• Ability to mentor developers and lead technical discussions.

Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)

• Exposure to MCP, A2A workflows.
• AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization (Docker).
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS.
• Caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
• Serverless architectures.
• Performance testing (Locust, JMeter).
• Backend-driven chart generation (Matplotlib).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹583,549.14 - ₹1,378,928.95 per year
