Role & responsibilities
Rhythmsoft Robotics & Automation Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior PurchaseEngineerto oversee the procurement of components, materials, and services essential for robotics and automation projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, proven vendor management experience, and the ability to drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
Candidates with prior experience in the Automation, Robotics, or Industrial Machinery industry will be given preference.
Source and procure mechanical and automation components.
Evaluate and develop vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Coordinate with design, production, and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability. Maintain accurate procurement data and generate reports using ERP systems.
Ensure all purchases comply with company standards and industry regulations.
Strong knowledge of robotics, automation, and industrial components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.
Proficiency in SAP.
