Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of high-end interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, budgeting, procurement, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and cost. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and in-depth knowledge of interior fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of multiple interior fit-out projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, engineering, site execution, and subcontractor teams.
  • Prepare project schedules (using MS Project/Primavera) and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Manage client communication and ensure client satisfaction at every stage of the project.
  • Monitor site progress through regular site visits and review meetings.
  • Manage and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and QA/QC standards.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure proper resource deployment on site.
  • Track project budgets, approve vendor invoices, and support billing/certification processes.
  • Lead project review meetings and submit periodic progress reports to management and clients.
  • Ensure project documentation and handover processes are completed as per company protocols.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, methods, and standards.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial, retail, or corporate interiors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Strong financial and contract management acumen.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years in interior fit-out.

Preferred Background:

  • Interior Fit-Out Contracting (Commercial / Retail / Hospitality Projects).
