Government and public sector transactions services, sits under EYs Transaction Advisory Services practice, a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team, working with leading businesses across a range of industries. This practice is in a unique position to deliver implementable strategies given the firms sector depth, transaction perspectives, and operational insights.The practice provides experience working with various sectors such as, Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory , Water waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities and Public Finance & Management.SaT - TCF - Infrastructure Advisory :Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to todays toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.Whether clients are preserving, optimizing, raising or investing, our Connected Capital Solutions (CCS) are our five go-to-market offerings that help drive competitive advantage and increased returns through improved decision-making. The CCS include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate and Reshaping Results, and are underpinned by our Connected Capital Technologies.Our key focus areas are - Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling and Economics, Transaction Diligence, Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Project Finance and infrastructure, EY Parthenon - Strategy and EY Parthenon - Execution.Your key responsibilitiesTechnical ExcellenceAbility to manage multiple (10+) projects and large (30+) team members, structured problem solving skills, good with numbers. ability to stretch and get things done.Ability to quickly grasp problem statements across sectors, give clarity to teams to identify solutions, present data backed solutions to senior govt. stakeholders will be critical for success.Skills and attributesTo qualify for the role you must haveQualificationPG from an IIMs and/or UG from IITs.Willigness to relocate to Chandigarh for 12 - 24 months is a must.Experience12- 15+ years of industry or consulting or development sector experience cutting across higher education, agriculture, industries, water resources, irrigation, power etc. sectors. Experience of working with senior govt. stakeholders (IAS) and govt. departments is a must.
