Senior Program Manager - Factory Expansion

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading and overseeing major factory expansion initiatives for Hitachi Energy's Transformer business in India. This strategic role based in Vadodara requires strong industrial project execution expertise, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to mentor a team of project managers. Your role will involve cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, engineering, and capital project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the planning and execution of multiple large-scale investment projects in India, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Lead Project Managers, Project Specialists, and Coordinators, fostering their project management capabilities. - Develop and implement comprehensive project plans in collaboration with HUB and Operations leadership, focusing on resource allocation, risk management, and milestone tracking. - Collaborate with various teams including Real Estate, Industrial Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Global Project Management to ensure seamless execution and integration of new facilities and equipment. - Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial discipline throughout all project phases. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's standards for health, safety, environmental compliance, and business ethics in all project activities. - Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and infrastructure to support production ramp-up, coordinating with global supply chain teams. - Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to integrate best practices and innovative solutions into project execution and facility design. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech); Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is mandatory. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant field, with a successful track record in managing large-scale industrial projects. - Strong understanding of P&L management, project financing, and commercial operations. - Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with statutory, contractual, and regulatory frameworks relevant to industrial projects in India. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.,
