Senior Product Marketing Manager

US SMB B2B SaaS space

Key Responsibilities

Messaging, Positioning, and Segmentation

  • Own product messaging and positioning that clearly articulates our value to different ICPs and personas.
  • Continuously refine positioning to reflect competitive advantages and evolving market dynamics.
  • Translate product features into clear, outcome-driven value propositions for founders, operations teams, bookkeepers, and accountants.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct competitor research and pricing comparisons to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor shifts to keep Webgility's narrative ahead of the curve.
  • Develop battlecards and internal briefs for Sales and GTM teams.

Pricing & Value Alignment

  • Partner with Product and Leadership on pricing and packaging strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for bundling, upsell paths, and pricing tier optimizations.
  • Align messaging with buyer pain points, ROI, and perceived value.

Go-to-Market Ownership

  • Lead launch planning for new features, product updates, and packaging changes.
  • Create GTM playbooks and orchestrate cross-functional coordination across Product, Sales, and Growth.
  • Define launch KPIs (e.g., adoption, engagement, sales enablement usage) and drive post-launch performance reviews.

App Store & Channel Optimization

  • Own and optimize our presence across the QuickBooks App Store, Shopify App Store, and other marketplaces.
  • Test messaging, visuals, and value props to drive installs, reviews, and visibility.
  • Partner with Growth on improving conversion and visibility across these listings.

Enablement & Sales Support

  • Build product narratives, one-pagers, demo decks, and sales enablement assets that help teams convert more effectively.
  • Support Sales and Customer Success with updated messaging, use cases, and persona-based objection handling.
  • Deliver internal training sessions and launch briefings to ensure message consistency across all touchpoints.

Product Adoption & Market Feedback

  • Analyze usage patterns, feature adoption, and retention metrics to identify GTM gaps or messaging misalignment.
  • Partner with Product to integrate customer feedback into roadmap prioritization.
  • Help inform in-app education, tooltips, and feature discovery strategies.

Requirements

Success Metrics

  • Message-Market Fit:

    Strength and clarity of positioning as measured by win/loss interviews, competitive takeaways, and internal sales alignment.
  • Launch Performance:

    Timely execution and success of GTM launches based on adoption rates, usage lift, and sales enablement impact.
  • Competitive Readiness:

    Frequency and accuracy of battlecards, positioning updates, and competitive strategy inputs.
  • Sales Enablement Impact:

    Engagement with GTM content (e.g., sales decks, pitch materials), influence on conversion rates and deal velocity.
  • App Store Visibility:

    Growth in installs, reviews, and engagement across marketplaces like QuickBooks and Shopify.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    8+ years in product marketing with a focus on B2B SaaS, including 5+ years in a leadership or senior IC role. US SMB SaaS market experience required.
  • Strategic Execution:

    Proven ability to lead product launches, shape messaging, and partner with Sales and Product to drive adoption.
  • Analytical Mindset:

    Strong comfort with market, competitor, and usage data to inform GTM decisions and strategy.
  • Collaboration Skills:

    Ability to manage cross-functional inputs from multiple stakeholders across regions.
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for distilling technical features into business value.
  • Tools:

    Familiar with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and App Store dashboards. Bonus if experienced in sales enablement platforms.
