Senior Procurement Manager - Civil

As a Senior Manager Procurement (Civil), your role involves leading and managing all procurement activities related to civil construction projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for civil materials, works, and services in alignment with project requirements. This includes reviewing BOQs, specifications, and drawings to assess material needs and procurement timelines. Your key responsibilities will include: - Floating enquiries, evaluating bids, conducting techno-commercial comparisons, and finalizing purchase/work orders. - Establishing and maintaining a strong vendor network to ensure competitive sourcing and reliability. - Coordinating with project, engineering, planning, and finance teams for smooth procurement operations. - Monitoring market trends, pricing fluctuations, and material availability to support effective planning. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements. - Leading and mentoring the procurement team to ensure high performance and process efficiency. - Preparing and maintaining accurate procurement reports, MIS, and vendor performance evaluations. Qualifications and Requirements: - B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. - 12-15 years of experience in procurement and contracting within civil/construction projects. - Proven expertise in vendor development, tendering, and contract management. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. - Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / etc.) and MS Office tools. - Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
