About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst with strong expertise in payments and merchant acquiring economics to join our Hyderabad Pricing team. This role supports U.S. operations and works closely with leadership to optimize revenue and automate pricing models. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of card network pricing (interchange, assessments, brand fees, processor costs) along with advanced technical and statistical skills to help modernize our pricing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine pricing strategies to maximize revenue and optimize costs.

Act as a subject matter expert on interchange and acquiring economics.

Build scalable pricing models using Python/R, SQL, and Excel VBA.

Transition existing Excel models to automated, data-driven frameworks.

Analyze merchant statements and processor fees to identify optimization opportunities.

Partner with U.S. Pricing and Finance teams for insights and recommendations.

Contribute to AI-driven tools for automated statement processing.

Provide clear and actionable reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

6+ years of pricing experience, ideally in merchant acquiring or payments.

Expertise in card network pricing structures.

Proficiency in Excel (VBA), SQL, and Python or R.

Experience with statistical modeling and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Strong communication skills to simplify complex concepts.

Self-starter capable of maintaining current systems while driving automation.

U.S. market exposure preferred but not mandatory.
