Data Modeling Design enterprise-ready semantic models, optimize relationships, manage hierarchies
DAX Expertise Build advanced measures (e.g., YoY growth, rolling averages, dynamic KPIs) Visualization Create executive dashboards, drill-through reports, mobile-friendly layouts Governance Implement RLS, manage workspace access, enforce naming conventions Optimization Improve refresh times, reduce query load, ensure scalability Mandatory Skills Power BI, Power Query, Dax Queries, SQL Skill to Evaluate Power BI, Power Query, Dax Queries, SQL Experience 6 to 8 Years Education Qualificaiton B TechRoles & Responsibilities Data Modeling & Architecture Build and optimize star/snowflake schemas for reporting. Ensure scalable data models that support large datasets. Integrate Power BI with Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, and other enterprise platforms. Advanced DAX Development Write complex DAX measures for KPIs, time intelligence, and custom calculations. Optimize DAX queries for performance and accuracy. Mentor junior developers on best practices in DAX. Dashboard & Report Design Create interactive, user-friendly dashboards tailored to business needs. Implement row-level security (RLS) and role-based access. Apply visualization best practices for clarity and impact. Data Governance & Quality Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies. Validate data accuracy and consistency across reports. Manage version control and deployment pipelines. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with business teams to gather requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions. Present insights to executives in a clear, business-friendly format. Performance Optimization Monitor and tune Power BI service performance. Implement incremental refresh and query optimization. Troubleshoot bottlenecks in data pipelines and reports.
