Senior Power BI Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising Power BI solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights for business decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Optimize Power BI Solutions:

   Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to present complex data in a clear and interactive format.

• Data Modelling and DAX:

   Create and optimize data models and write advanced DAX expressions to ensure efficient data analysis and reporting.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders:

   Work closely with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

• Performance Tuning:

   Streamline Power BI environments, improve dashboard performance, and implement best practices for data visualization.

• Mentor and Train:

   Provide guidance and training to colleagues and end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.

• Documentation:

   Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, algorithms, and technical specifications.

• Data Governance:

   Ensure adherence to data privacy, governance, and security standards.

• Continuous Improvement:

   Regularly enhance existing reports and dashboards based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:

   Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.

• Data Management:

   Strong background in dimensional modelling, data structuring, and database querying (e.g., SQL).

• Analytical Skills:

   Ability to analyse business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Communication:

   Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present insights effectively.

• Problem Solving:

   Proactive in identifying and resolving issues related to data quality, performance, and visualization.

• Education:

   Typically holds a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
