Job Description

As a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Retail Liabilities team at IndusInd Bank, your primary role will involve driving Strategic Initiatives to maximize revenue through Portfolio actions on the Personal Banking customer base. Your responsibilities will include successful customer on-boarding, Activation, customer life cycle management, Retention and Attrition management, Deposits build up, Product Holding increase, and overall Liabilities Book growth programs via D2E2C and D2C campaigns. Your key responsibilities will revolve around developing Portfolio Strategies to increase retail deposits and profitability tailored to the demographic and behavior profiles of various portfolio segments. This will involve ideating and conceptualizing seasonal and perennial initiatives in collaboration with analytics, computing financial feasibility and profitability. Analyzing and segmenting portfolio trends to devise strategies for driving overall liabilities book growth and guiding front-end teams to achieve growth targets will also be crucial. You will be expected to create Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly plans for various channels and segments, run Customer-facing campaigns and communication to meet annual targets for customer activation, engagement, deposits growth, cross-sell, and retention. Additionally, identifying revenue leakage or optimization opportunities in portfolio and account usage trends, and implementing corrective actions like Winback, account upgrade, cross-selling of sticky products will be part of your responsibilities. Your liaison with the marketing team will be essential to develop effective communication and collateral regarding Portfolio Management initiatives, ensuring adherence to deadlines. Collaborating with the campaign management teams to execute campaigns will also be a key aspect of your role. Developing portfolio programs, process documents, and detailed projects, along with managing vendor and third-party relationships, will be part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring legal, compliance, and risk guidelines are followed, obtaining sign-offs from relevant departments for the initiatives. The desired skills and experience for this role include understanding Customer segmentation, excellent analytical skills, hands-on number crunching ability, interpersonal and communication skills, and a Master's Degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or Economics with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Hands-on experience working with data directly, ability to generate actionable insights, and prior knowledge of SQL queries and databases will be advantageous in this role.,
