Senior Piping Engineer

As a Senior Piping Engineer at the Pune based engineering services company in the Oil and Gas sector, your role involves leading piping engineering activities and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. You are expected to have 10-15 years of experience in this field and possess extensive knowledge of piping layout, design, and material specifications. Proficiency in E3D (AVEVA Everything3D) is a key requirement for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage piping design and layout activities using E3D software. - Review and approve piping design deliverables such as GA drawings, isometrics, pipe support drawings, and MTOs. - Prepare and review material specifications, valve data sheets, and special piping item specifications. - Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and civil disciplines for design integration. - Review vendor documents to ensure alignment with piping requirements. - Participate in design and model reviews, including 3D model walk-throughs. - Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI. - Monitor project schedule and progress related to piping engineering scope. **Key Skills & Competencies:** - Expertise in E3D and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MS Office. - Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication, installation, and testing. - Familiarity with international standards and codes (ASME B31.3, B31.1, API, etc.). - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. **Educational Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university. - Certifications in E3D or other relevant piping engineering tools are preferred. If you have experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas projects, it would be considered a plus for this role. The salary for this position is open and will be based on your experience level.
