Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with deep expertise in Laravel to join our in-house tech team. This is a critical role responsible for developing high-quality backend systems that power our web applications, patient management systems, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust backend systems using Laravel framework.
• Design RESTful APIs for integration with mobile apps, CRM, and third-party tools.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and guide technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and databases.
• Work with DevOps teams for deployment and automation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of PHP development experience with a strong command of the Laravel framework.
• Proficient in MySQL or PostgreSQL and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP concepts, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript – Vue.js or React is a plus).
• Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
• Good understanding of application security best practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in healthcare, clinic management systems, or patient portals.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker or container-based development.
