Senior Operations Manager

As a seasoned Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing hyperlocal last-mile delivery operations. Your key role includes designing and executing efficient logistics strategies, managing field and support teams, and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and customer-centric deliveries. This critical leadership position is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and have a proven track record in scaling logistics networks, particularly within urban delivery ecosystems. Your main responsibilities will revolve around Logistics and Operations Management. This involves overseeing the entire delivery management process, including supply planning and fulfillment. You will be tasked with optimizing delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries with minimal cancellations, meeting SLAs across all regions, and collaborating with other departments to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be involved in Driver Management, where you will plan supply based on demand, activate various supply sources, and build strong relationships with external stakeholders such as vendors and suppliers. Team Leadership is another crucial aspect of your role, requiring you to motivate and guide the delivery team, ensure proper training and necessary resources, and develop training programs to enhance team performance. Budget Management is also part of your responsibilities, involving monitoring P & L, controlling operational costs, and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce expenses. To excel in this position, you should have 5-10 years of experience in hyperlocal delivery operations across multiple locations in India. Experience in managing budgets, building relationships with key partners, and strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.
