Senior Operations Executive

As a Placement Lead/DPL at apna.co, your main role will be to lead a team of Traffic Incharges in order to secure truck procurement at the best freight rates. This involves building relationships with existing booking offices, driving indent procurement, onboarding new booking offices, and enabling better matchmaking by engaging with supply partners. You will also be responsible for ensuring smooth operations through collaboration with central operations teams and timely vehicle tracking and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of Traffic Incharges to procure trucks at optimal freight rates - Build relationships with booking offices and drive indent procurement - Onboard new booking offices - Engage with supply partners to facilitate better matchmaking - Collaborate with central operations teams for efficient operations - Monitor vehicle tracking to ensure timely deliveries Qualifications Required: - Education: Graduate preferred but not mandatory - Work Experience: 2-5 years in traffic background in traditional transport organizations - Strong negotiation skills In this role, you will need to demonstrate foundational competencies such as Delivery Excellence, Drive, Adaptability, Ownership, and Openness. Additionally, you should possess functional competencies including Relationship Building, Negotiation Skills, and Communication Skills to effectively engage with supply partners, customers, and internal teams. Please note that the job is based in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, with a 6-day work week and no shift working or travel required.
