Senior Officer - Electrical Maintenance

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibilities for smooth operation and maintenance of electrical operations with spares management and inclusive of budget control and monitoring.
• Responsible for preparing preventive maintenance Schedule as per OEM manuals for all electrical installations.
• Operation & maintenance of 750KVA DG (Cummins) and 3.5MVA transformer.
• Documentation for QMS, EMS, OHSAS & EnMS certificate.
• Preparation of monthly electricity reports of the plant & monthly provision.
• Daily monitoring of DGVCL reading & calculation of Power factor & Maintain Power factor near unity (1) by APFC panel.
• Identify training needs for technicians and provide arrange for necessary trainings by coordinating with Maintenance Manager and HR.
• Preventive maintenance & overhauling of LT motors.
• Develop vendor for AMC & ARC work for electrification work, UPS, DG, motor rewinding, lift etc. & also check bills as per service.
• Maintenance & Servicing of ACB, VCB, PCC panel, MCC panel, L&T & Siemens make contactor, MPCB, MCB, Relay, Timer, ELCB etc.
• Preventive maintenance of APFC Panel, PCC Panel, MCC Panel, LT Motors & Transformer.
• Power changeover from DG to GEB successfully within time limits & Vice-versa.
• G.E.B. bill checking & maintaining G7-card.
• Daily monitoring of GEB reading & calculation of power factor(PF) & maintain PF near unity (1) by APFC panel.
• Making power Interruption report like DGVCL.
• Making self-duty generation reports.
• Load calculation & power system equipment sizing.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering – 05+ years / B.E. (Electrical & Electronics) – 03 years to 05 years

Required Skills

• Knowledge of DC Drive and DC motor & maintenance of siemens PLC, SCADA.
• Knowledge of AC Drive like siemens, ABB, SSD (Parker) and servo drive (Moog).
• Good knowledge in automation and PLC programming like SIEMENS TIA Portal.
• Read and develop ladder diagram, having legal compliance knowledge, IMS system knowledge.
