As a Network Security Team Lead, your role will involve specializing in supporting enterprise architecture, providing advanced operational support for various security systems, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Enterprise Architecture Support: Integrate multiple security products to maintain a robust security posture across data center and public cloud infrastructures. - Operational Support: Address critical business challenges by providing advanced support for firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and NAC systems, utilizing deep network troubleshooting techniques. - DDoS Expertise: Demonstrate expert-level understanding of DDoS technologies and mitigation strategies. - Security Infrastructure Management: Independently manage security infrastructure, recommend design modifications, and address complex issues to enhance system integrity and performance. - Network Analysis: Perform TCP/IP network traces and packet captures, interpreting results accurately. - Technology Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency with security technologies such as Palo Alto Threat Protection, Cisco Firepower, Check Point IPS/IDS, and Zscaler. - Routing Protocol Expertise: Provide extensive support for routing protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, Logical Overlay, IOS-XR, MPLS VPN, and Multicast. - Networking Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of LAN and WAN architectures, Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst switches, and routers. - Protocol Familiarity: Understand L2/L3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing, HSRP, VLAN, and Port-channel. - Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Understand AWS and Azure architecture to support cloud integration and deployment. - Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, handle periodic audits and assessments. - Escalation Management: Handle escalated cases from the L3 team, demonstrating a strong grasp of core security principles. - Next-Generation Security Management: Configure, manage, and support Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention Systems (NGIPS).
