As a Senior Network Security Engineer at Barry-Wehmiller, your role is crucial in planning, designing, optimizing, implementing, auditing, and troubleshooting the BW network from a security perspective to enhance the organization's protection and efficiency. Your responsibilities include: - Planning and implementing security measures to safeguard the enterprise IT environment from cyber-attacks, hacking, intrusion, infiltration, exfiltration, and natural disasters. - Identifying and analyzing security gaps in both on-premises and cloud network environments. - Participating in integration projects, overseeing secure configuration and installation of infrastructure devices, and optimizing threat detection systems. - Designing secure remote access practices, implementing network segmentation, and developing security standards, processes, and policies. - Investigating intrusion incidents, conducting forensic investigations, and managing findings to resolution. - Testing the BW enterprise for weaknesses through penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. - Implementing regulatory systems in compliance with IT security standards. - Configuring and maintaining NAC using Cisco ISE and advocating for best cybersecurity practices within Barry-Wehmiller. Job Specifications: - Expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ISE, routing, switching, and Cisco Meraki. - Understanding of SASE/SSE products like Netskope or Zscaler. - Strong logical ability, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently. - Troubleshooting experience with networking and computer systems and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of OT environments and API programming is desirable. Required Education and Experience: - Senior-level professional with extensive network security knowledge. - Minimum 4-year degree in IT field, with certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP preferred. - Minimum 7 years of experience in network security engineering and IP networks. This is a non-supervisory office position at BW Corporate Europe, requiring occasional domestic and/or global travel.
