Senior Motion Graphics Designer

Role Purpose/ Summary

VRIZE is seeking a talented and versatile Motion Graphic Designer to join our dynamic creative team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality engaging and dynamic visuals for various media. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualization and Storyboarding:

  Collaborating with clients or creative teams to understand project requirements, develop visual concepts, and create storyboards to outline the animation sequence.

• Design and Animation:

  Utilizing industry-standard software (such as Adobe After Effects, Premier pro to design and animate graphic elements, typography, characters, and visual effects in 2D or 3D.

• Typography and Kinetic Typography:

  Selecting and animating text effectively to convey messages and create visual interest.

• Audio Integration:

  Syncing animations with voiceovers, sound effects, and music to create a cohesive and engaging final product.

• Video Editing:

  Combining motion graphics with live-action footage and performing post-production tasks using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

• Brand Consistency:

  Ensuring that all motion graphics align with the client's brand guidelines, including color palettes, typography, and visual style.

• Staying Current

  : Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, animation techniques, and software advancements.

• Optimization:

  Preparing and exporting animations in various formats optimized for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast, etc.).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of design principles: Layout, composition, color theory, and typography.
• End-to-end project execution ability, from concept development through delivery.
• 5+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, and video production.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering value to the team.
• Proficiency in animation principles: Timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, etc.
• Mastery of industry-standard software: Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is a must, and knowledge of other software like, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and PowerPoint is highly valued.
• Creativity and artistic vision: Ability to develop original and engaging visual concepts.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and visual consistency in all aspects of the animation.
• Communication and collaboration skills: Effectively conveying ideas and working well with others.
• Time management and organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn: The field is constantly evolving, so staying current is crucial.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics work.
