Job Description

As an experienced IT Procurement and Data Management professional, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Vendor Management - Maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers. - Evaluate vendor performance regularly and negotiate pricing and service contracts. - Coordinate with internal departments to assess procurement needs. - Ensure timely procurement and delivery of IT hardware/software. - PO Creation & IT Asset Management - Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policy. - Conduct regular audits of IT inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Maintain documentation for asset warranties, licenses, and renewals. - Data Management & Automation - Develop and manage dynamic Excel dashboards with advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.). - Automate regular reports using Excel VBA or Power Query to enhance operational efficiency. - Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various departments. - Generate monthly reports for IT spend, asset utilization, and vendor performance. - Process Improvement & Documentation - Identify opportunities to improve workflows and implement automation where applicable. - Document processes, SOPs, and best practices for IT procurement and MIS reporting. - Collaborate with Finance, Admin, and IT teams to streamline operations. - Compliance & Support - Ensure adherence to company policies and audit requirements related to IT procurement and data handling. - Provide support during internal and external audits. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting of IT expenses. The following skills and qualifications are required for this role: - Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience: - 2+ years of experience in MIS, Data Management, IT Procurement, or similar roles. - Technical Skills: - Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA, Power Query). - Strong understanding of procurement and vendor management processes. - Familiarity with IT asset management tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho). - Basic knowledge of databases and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is a plus. - Strong documentation and organizational skills. - Soft Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Team player with a proactive attitude.,
