Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the product development cycle from design handover to shipment.
• Source, evaluate, and finalize factories/suppliers ensuring quality, costing, and timelines are met.
• Supervise coordination with QA, merchandising, fabrics, and accessories teams for smooth operations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms with suppliers.
• Ensure on-time order execution while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• Analyze trends, market demands, and vendor capabilities for strategic sourcing.
• Guide and mentor junior merchants in daily activities and vendor management.
• Establish long-term relationships with vendors and drive continuous process improvements.

Required Candidate Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in a garment buying house/exports, preferably in kidswear.
• Strong expertise in product development, sourcing, vendor management, and cost negotiation.
• Practical knowledge of garments, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and internal teams under tight timelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Hardworking, result-driven, and motivated to achieve business goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
